# Referrals & Invites

### Invite codes

Imperial is in early access, and new traders need an invite code to open positions.

* Codes look like `NAME-ABCD2345`. Share yours as a link: `imperial.trade/?armada=CODE`.
* Every trader gets **3 codes** to start.
* Each person you invite who trades **$1,000** of positions earns you **one more code**.

### Referrals

When someone signs up with your referral code, you earn a share of the trading fees from your referral network.

* Rewards are paid in **USDC**.
* Each trade's reward becomes claimable **24 hours** after the trade.
* Referrals also earn from the weekly referral points pool (see [Points](https://docs.imperial.space/rewards/points)).
* People you refer get a points boost (see [Points](https://docs.imperial.space/rewards/points#boosts)).
